Having made the decision to make your Will, there are some important points you need to consider before meeting with a Will Writer. By having many of the answers available it will leave more time to discuss the other important issues which may arise during the consultation.

A professional Will Writers job is to take your instructions and translate them into your Will, creating a document which accurately reflects your wishes. The Will needs to be understood by your executors and most importantly, The Probate Court, to ensure that it is proved quickly, thus minimising any problems after your death which could cause delays leading to hardship for your loved-ones.

THE APPOINTMENT OF EXECUTORS
You may choose to appoint a member of your family, a prime beneficiary or close friend to act as an executor. Remember, an executor can also be a beneficiary. If you do need to appoint a professional executor, you could opt for either a solicitor, chartered accountant or a Trust Corporation to act on your behalf. Your Will Consultant will be able to advise on the best option for your circumstances.

APPOINTMENT OF GUARDIANS
If you have children (under the age of 18) you will need to appoint guardians. It may be helpful to make at least one guardian a joint executor as they have a right to money from your estate to help towards the upbringing of your child. This amount can be restricted to a certain amount or could be left in a trust fund. If you have a child with additional needs, who are likely to require specialist care either at home or in the care of the Local Authority, a trust will be required to ensure adequate funds are available for their future.

PROPERTY
How you hold your property will determine how it passes on after your death. As ‘joint tenants’ your share will pass on to the survivor automatically. If you wish to pass your ‘interest’ in the property to your children or others, you should hold your property as ‘tenants in common’. More in-depth information can be discussed with your consultant.

Love seeing all these posts of pubs and restaurants reopening! Here’s an update from The Angel in Bicester 🍻Oh hi there, remember us? 🙋🏼‍♀️ We remember you and can’t wait to welcome you back on.... 🥁 MONDAY the 12th APRIL!! 🎉🔸Opening Hours. The pub will now be open from 4pm-10pm Monday - Thursday. 3pm - 11pm Friday 12pm - 11pm Saturday 12pm - 9pm Sunday The bar will close 30 minutes before closing time allowing you all enough time to finish your drinks. 👩🏼‍🌾🔸Booking. We have decided that the best way for us to operate means will not be taking bookings, tables will be on a first come first seated basis. 🪑🔸Track & Tracing! It is now mandatory to collect track and trace information from ALL customers. Yes, that’s EVERYONE on your table. We have the relevant NHS COVID 19 poster with the QR code specific to us. You’ll find this on displayed on arrival a member of staff will also have a portable one to bring to your table when they take your first order so we can ensure that everyone has signed in successfully. We would advise that you download the NHS-Covid 19 app before you arrive to make the process as smooth & simple as it can be. No worries if you can’t, we have wifi and you can download it here! No excuses 👀*No track & trace = No drinks* 🔸Face Coverings. We must ask that on entering the building at any time you do so wearing a face covering. Once seated at a table you may remove it. However if for any reason you need to leave the table, for example to come inside to use the toilet, or entering the pub itself for any other reason you must put your face covering back on. 😷🔸Table Service Only. Once you and the members of your group are seated a member of staff will be over to take your order. If you need us just flash us a smile or give us a wave and we will be with you as soon as possible. 🔸Rule of 6.There is a maximum of 6 people to a table however each individual table has its own maximum capacity. Although it’s tempting to stand up and mingle as we’ll all be outside we ask that you remain seated and don’t hop from table to table. 6️⃣I know that’s a lot of information to take in, trust me, we’ve been trying to process it all ourselves. Like always we will do our best to operate the best we can and provide an environment everyone feels safe and comfortable in. ItThank you for following the rules and understanding that they’re not things we want to do but things we HAVE to do. 🥰Much Love Hannah & Team Angel 🧡*P.S, please come prepared for the weather! Bring your own, blankets, brollies, coats, hats, suncream or anything else you might need to shield you from the weather of all four seasons. ☀️🌱⛈❄️🍂As we know, we can experience them all in one day 😂* ...
