It’s a new year! Hooray I hear you shout! There is no hesitation that I’m sure that you’ll be pleased to see the back of 2020. Happy New Year and best wishes for 2021!

But let’s not forget the more positive aspects of what we learnt in 2020 and what we took away.

Maybe you cherished the time you had to spent with loved ones, or maybe setup your own business, whatever it may be, 2020 will not be forgotten.

For many, it was a time to reset, reflect and take the time to plan what we wish to achieve. For businesses It continues to be a testing time, and will be for the foreseeable, as a business we must adapt and transform
the way we do things and build on our digital presence.

I remember reading several articles over the lockdown period and I still find it baffling that some major high street retailers refuse to drive online sales. The consumer trend is changing, more of us are spending more time at home, because we’re either working from home, our job status has changed or perhaps staying safe.

That means trying to segregate our home life and our work – from home life, looking after the kids, whilst also trying to run a house – Time is perhaps more limited in some ways, where we have saved the commuting time, we’ve put on more hats and more responsibilities.

Therefore, these behavioural changes will have a profound transformation of habit that exceeds past the end of the pandemic and whatever happens we should all be prepared to be more flexible and find ways to reduce our internal administrative costs to running a business.

Spending less time doing laborious administrative tasks means more time selling or fulfilling orders. Resulting in more profit!

Having the ability for your services and products to be bookable or purchased online is a great way to automate some of those laborious but vital business tasks, by streamlining your ordering process you will gain valuable time back to enable you to process more orders or explore further ways to market your business.

Let’s not forget, whilst we are probably all busy piling the paperwork together to send to our accountant having an online solution that calculates our sales and profits not only benefits the customers as mentioned, but ensures that the tax return becomes far less of a headache for us!

We know that times are hard but we also realise that small business will not succeed without a successful responsive, and eye-catching website that converts.

That’s why Harris Consultancy is offering businesses a FREE ONE-PAGE WEBSITE DESIGN trial – Allowing you the opportunity to see what can be achieved when working with an award-winning agency. Love seeing all these posts of pubs and restaurants reopening! Here’s an update from The Angel in Bicester 🍻Oh hi there, remember us? 🙋🏼‍♀️ We remember you and can’t wait to welcome you back on.... 🥁 MONDAY the 12th APRIL!! 🎉🔸Opening Hours. The pub will now be open from 4pm-10pm Monday - Thursday. 3pm - 11pm Friday 12pm - 11pm Saturday 12pm - 9pm Sunday The bar will close 30 minutes before closing time allowing you all enough time to finish your drinks. 👩🏼‍🌾🔸Booking. We have decided that the best way for us to operate means will not be taking bookings, tables will be on a first come first seated basis. 🪑🔸Track & Tracing! It is now mandatory to collect track and trace information from ALL customers. Yes, that’s EVERYONE on your table. We have the relevant NHS COVID 19 poster with the QR code specific to us. You’ll find this on displayed on arrival a member of staff will also have a portable one to bring to your table when they take your first order so we can ensure that everyone has signed in successfully. We would advise that you download the NHS-Covid 19 app before you arrive to make the process as smooth & simple as it can be. No worries if you can’t, we have wifi and you can download it here! No excuses 👀*No track & trace = No drinks* 🔸Face Coverings. We must ask that on entering the building at any time you do so wearing a face covering. Once seated at a table you may remove it. However if for any reason you need to leave the table, for example to come inside to use the toilet, or entering the pub itself for any other reason you must put your face covering back on. 😷🔸Table Service Only. Once you and the members of your group are seated a member of staff will be over to take your order. If you need us just flash us a smile or give us a wave and we will be with you as soon as possible. 🔸Rule of 6.There is a maximum of 6 people to a table however each individual table has its own maximum capacity. Although it’s tempting to stand up and mingle as we’ll all be outside we ask that you remain seated and don’t hop from table to table. 6️⃣I know that’s a lot of information to take in, trust me, we’ve been trying to process it all ourselves. Like always we will do our best to operate the best we can and provide an environment everyone feels safe and comfortable in. ItThank you for following the rules and understanding that they’re not things we want to do but things we HAVE to do. 🥰Much Love Hannah & Team Angel 🧡*P.S, please come prepared for the weather! Bring your own, blankets, brollies, coats, hats, suncream or anything else you might need to shield you from the weather of all four seasons. ☀️🌱⛈❄️🍂As we know, we can experience them all in one day 😂* ...
